So, this week's theme is enjoying doll activities without dolls. Something like that anyway. I'm starting with video games recommendations. These reviews will not be very thorough.
Fashion Dreamer
A “spiritual successor” to Style Savvy/Girl's Mode, released about two years ago. And a few months ago they announced the online service would be discontinued next March. That is a very short lifespan, but the gameplay itself is so lacking that maybe they already knew few people would have any incentive to play for more than a year or two anyway. Anyway I like some of the items and customization is fun.
Style Savvy: Fashion Forward
This was my introduction to Style Savvy and I still really enjoy it. It's perfect for dollers because you get transported to dollhouse world. I never played Trendsetters but I have played some of the first Style Savvy, and it's definitely a departure from trying to realistically mimic running a boutique. But that doesn't matter because dolls do not run boutiques.
Style Savvy: Styling Star
This one is idol themed. You can also do nail art. There are also more boys. The Sporty style was merged with Lively which is fine I guess. This one is also really fun and the NPCs are also enjoyable.
Anne's Doll Studio
A series of very simple and very cheap dress up games for DSi. It's a doll studio, so it's suitable for dollers. In the Gothic one, you can dress up two dolls. It offers several pairs of ouji shorts, so you can even make them boyfriends.
