    I'm not counting this time!

  2. 好きなスキンカラーは？ What is your favorite resin tone?

    sunlight/tan/light brown, but if there is an option for a fantasy tone, specifically lavender, I'll pick that. Strangely enough I prefer WS over NS (or whatever equivalent).

  3. うちの子の設定はある？ Do you have backstories for your dolls?

    Not really. I have silly ideas for them but I'm not sure I'd call them proper backstories. I don't think I've ever been one to "shell" OCs. But around the time I was getting into dolls, I was really into the Star of Cottonland. Since I "couldn't" buy the large handsome boys I wanted, I suppose I envisioned that my tinies lived in something similar to Cottonland.

  4. ドールの名前の決め方は？ How do you decide on your dolls' names?

    I'm fond of food and flowers, so I have a much harder time naming boys. Whatever seems to "fit" in the moment is what I go with.

  5. いつかお迎えしたい子は？ Which doll would you like to buy someday?

    A fullset Kinoko Juice straight from the source! Or I would like to do in-person FCS.

    I want to try it someday! I'd love to take my dolls on a coffee date.

  7. リアクロ派、ドレス派？ Do you prefer casual clothes or dress clothes?

    Dress clothes! Pretty dolls sometimes look weirdly underdressed in casual clothes, but the contrast of that can be nice as well.

    Not often enough! I try to take at least one out every night to sit with.

    Toothbrush/hairbrush, small chairs.

  12. お着替えさせる頻度は？ How often do you change their clothes?

    Not often! I'll lose an afternoon playing dressup. But I enjoy it a lot. I should do it more often. At least seasonally right? Haupia has a few outfits now so I should at least do that much for her.

  13. どんな写真の雰囲気が好き？ What kind of atmosphere do you like in photos?

    I love the photos of handsome boys looking cool. I've spent many hours just looking at company photos for dolls I had no intention of buying just because they look cool. Those crazy Korean fujoshi are an entirely different level though!

  14. ドールと行ってみたい場所は？ Where would you like to take your dolls?

    Actually, I've taken my overalls Honeybear with me every time I've traveled this year! I like keeping him in my purse. So, I want to try taking one of my smaller girls around some time. Just anywhere! Of course, Haupia must come with me to Japan at some point.

    What kind of question is this. It's the dolls. Unless I add all of my monthly bills and reasonable living expenses together, maybe most of my income goes to doll-adjacent items. Surrogate children, as you know.

    I want to buy back my old dolls! I don't even like them enough to buy a new one, I just feel bad that I'm having so much fun without them! And my second unrealistic answer is 58chan!!! Codi!!!! Hurry!!!!! Up!!!!!!

    So many boxes. I want a closet with little doll clothes hangers and accessories drawers. It's entirely impractical for space but I want it.

    It's 2022 and it's extremely easy to get a Kiki now. Please buy yourself a Kinoko Juice Kiki! And then get Jill! And then get Shizuku! And then get Luna!

  20. 一年で最高何人お迎えした？ How many dolls have you received in one year?

    Much to my mother's disappointment, 4 dolls ended up here this year. I have no idea how it happened. 2 Must be my average though, not bad!

    I don't think this means photo studio so someone please help me out.

  22. 今後撮ってみたい写真は？ What kind of photos would you like to take in the future?

    I am desparately trying to make wedding photos happen. I have to be patient.

    I love them all for different reasons. But, if I'm going to be completely honest, recieving Astilbe is what really rekindled my love for dolls so she's really important to me.

    "Situations" huh...I should work on this.

  25. 一目惚れでお迎えしたことは？ Have you ever bought a doll on first sight?

    Hmm...not really? Every "impulse" was something I considered for a little while. However my shortest sight-to-buy has to be Maple.

  26. 行く又は行ってみたいイベントは？ What events do you want to go to?

    Every time I let myself dream about attending Dolpa even for a minute makes my heart hurt. I'll even settle for LA Dolpa. Kikifes would be fun too, though, if we're not just considering BJD.

  27. 今後挑戦してみたいことは？ What do you want to try in the future?

    Modding DD heads, actually. Now, I did fail with resin despite not being entirely new to sculpting, but vinyl is different, right?

  28. お迎え待ちの子はいる？ Do you currently have any dolls on order?

    Not currently. I swear.

  29. お洋服は買う派？作る派？ Do you buy clothes or make them?

    No time to sew, so no skill either. So I mostly buy. I'd rather make them though, honestly.

    "option parts" I want heel feet/legs for my boys and more hands for all of my Kinoko Juice girls. These are both impossible.

    Not at all! Part of the fun is changing them out. This is why none of my dolls are OCs, probably! Or maybe they are all just pop idols experimenting with their styles.

  32. 撮影使用機材は？ What equipment did you use?

    Cheap ring light and my phone (you can tell) or Canon EOS M5. I want to throw my tripod out a window but for now it lives to see another day.

    I wish! I'd love to have doll friends in real life but the things you want most are best just out of reach so that you always have something to aspire to, right?

    Indoors, but I need to find some nice spots outdoors. The garden is a little...
